Carnival is one of the most celebrated and long-awaited festivals in Bolivia. This event celebrates the devotion and faith of Bolivians through dances and rituals, these festivities begin two weeks before and end up to a month after the central festival in February. In this carnival the dancers dance for up to 20 hours and wear costumes, masks, and fabrics that let us see the richness and cultural diversity of Bolivia. Today we will visit the biggest party in Bolivia: "El Carnaval de Oruro: Intangible Heritage of Humanity"
